OIL PASTEL TECHNIQUE for grade 3-5 [Summer 2026 / Syosset]

The Oil Pastel Technique curriculum guides students through systematic steps to understand the characteristics of the materials. It emphasizes the soft and blendable nature of oil pastels, teaching methods to express depth and richness of color. Additionally, the curriculum includes techniques for using oil pastels in combination with watercolor, allowing students to create works that incorporate multiple mediums. It aims to foster diversity and expertise by introducing new mediums.
