Ashcan’s Portfolio Preparation program helps students develop a unique and coherent body of work that is essential to the pursuit of higher studies. Students get personal attention from instructors to focus on personal projects and creative thinking. Students learn how to develop their ideas in two-dimensional work such as drawing, painting, and mixed media to help them create high-quality college portfolios.

  • General Portfolio:
    Most art colleges require a portfolio with drawing, painting, and mixed media. Out of 20 pieces, 10 to 15 should be general works. This course helps build a strong, diverse portfolio showcasing fundamental skills and creativity while aligning with their intended major.

  • Design, Digital Art, Sculpture, Figure Drawing Portfolio:
    Showcase a student's passion and talent in their intended field of study. These portfolios are major-focused, with 5 to 10 out of 20 submitted pieces specifically dedicated to their chosen discipline.

  • Choosing Courses Based on Portfolio Needs:
    In one course, students typically complete one artwork. However, depending on the size or complexity of the project, students may create more pieces or require additional time. If you are considering taking multiple courses, you can add courses based on the number of artworks needed for your portfolio.
