WATERCOLOR TECHNIQUE for grade 3-5 [Winter Spring 2026 / Manhattan]
The Watercolor Basic Technique curriculum is designed to be easily accessible for beginners in watercolor painting. It aims to teach fundamental techniques simply and clearly, providing a stepping stone for learners to plan their own projects. The basic techniques include controlling the amount of water to adjust transparency, various brush stroke techniques, color mixing, creating gradient effects, as well as wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques. Through these techniques, learners will understand the basic principles of watercolor and develop the skills to create their own unique works.
