ARCHITECTURE for grade 3-5 [Fall 2026 / Flushing]

This class is a process of experimenting and understanding lines, shapes, volume, and space, which are the basis of architecture. This class consists of seven classes for three hours each. Each class consists of the process of creating and experiencing imaginary shapes and spaces using various materials, starting with basic architectural drawing. Ashcan Studio of Art provides a small intimate class with kind examples and demonstrations which can be followed by any student interested in architecture. As the instructor and individual share ideas and receive feedback, the class progresses to gain a wider understanding and confidence in architecture. Any student interested in architecture can participate and it is especially recommended for students who wish to pursue architecture in the future.
